Listening Foundations Core is a listening support program for adults with listening challenges, auditory processing concerns, or recipients of hearing aids or cochlear implants- tailored to your unique needs, environments, and goals. Through guided lessons supplemented with instructional videos, a clinical audiologist will educate you on ways to better understand and manage listening effort in everyday life with the goal of reducing overwhelm around communication and increasing confidence in navigating conversations.

The program will focus on:
  • Targeted listening practice
  • Fatigue management in demanding situations
  • Building confidence in specific settings (work, social, phone, etc.)
  • Refining strategies as your listening skills change

Listening Foundations Lite eBook is included with the course.

Listening Foundations Core- Guided Application moves from understanding your listening to actually changing. You’ve likely already realized something important: Hearing better isn’t just about devices, appointments, or test results. It’s about how your brain processes sound in real-world situations. But understanding that is only the first step. This is where Guided Application comes in through personalized virtual one-on-one coaching sessions with an audiologist. 

This is not another course and it’s not traditional consulting. It’s a structured, personalized experience designed to help you:
  • Apply what you’ve learned to your real-life listening challenges
  • Understand why certain situations break down
  • Build strategies that actually work for you
  • Gain confidence in how you navigate conversations, noise, and everyday communication. 

You won’t be starting from scratch. You’ll be building on a foundation so our time together is focused, efficient, and meaningful. Enrollment and completion of Listening Foundations Core course is required prior to scheduling 1:1 coaching sessions with an audiologist. Sessions must be scheduled within 3 months of course enrollment.
